Senior Public Relations Strategist
As a senior public relations strategist, Michael oversees integrated communication planning and direction, overall client management and high-level tactical execution. Media strategy, training and outreach are only a few of the responsibilities he handles on a daily basis.
Since joining Boscobel in 2000, Michael’s understanding of the government space, as well as the industry that serves it, aids Boscobel’s efforts to help clients stay relevant and competitive in this fascinating market. To do this, he oversees and implements Boscobel’s service-marked processes and methodologies, which include pre- and post-RFP positioning, Capturing the Knowledge, Reverse Angle Pitches, and others.
Additionally, Michael has had the honor of providing exemplary service and quality results to the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Citrix Systems, Intelsat General, NCI, SAIC, STG, TechTeam Government Solutions and QinetiQ North America.
Prior to joining Boscobel, Michael was a staff writer for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Miss., where his responsibilities were also multi-faceted. He served as media liaison with the local and national media, sports information director, producer and writer for a department that served more than 20,000 students and 800 personnel.
Michael has master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film, both from the University of Southern Mississippi.
