JCS is a premier technology services firm specializing in innovative digital transformation, cybersecurity operations, and threat mitigation solutions. In its first decade, the company built a strong reputation for technical excellence, forward-thinking solutions, and an award-winning workplace. However, the company’s website and marketing materials no longer reflected its capabilities or momentum. To elevate its brand and better support its next phase of growth, JCS turned to Boscobel. JCS sought a range of PR and marketing support, including a website that would clearly differentiate JCS from other federal and commercial service providers while also boosting recruitment efforts.

Boscobel’s work started with some big-picture thinking and a strong foundation. We refreshed the company’s messaging and visual identity, developed a brand guide, and worked with subject matter experts to deeply understand and articulate JCS’s unique service offerings. To ensure clarity and discoverability, we also did SEO and keyword research, guiding a strategic renaming of the company’s service offerings. At the same time, we elevated the founder and CEO’s profile through a targeted PR program. This included securing bylined articles in top-tier publications, supporting executive communications, and nominating her for NVTC’s Cyber50 Executive of the Year. To strengthen JCS’s presence online, we launched a social media strategy for JCS that focused on a federal audience.

Boscobel led a full website rewrite that delivered just the right balance of technical depth and compelling storytelling of the JCS approach. Our designers reimagined the website’s structure and look, incorporating movement in the homepage masthead and showcasing the brand’s personality with fun patterns and curvy shapes. The site featured dedicated space for thought leadership articles, company news, and a Careers section that highlights JCS’s incredible culture.

Website performance also improved, with measurable gains in both page views and new visitor traffic driven by social and PR links.
