Ellyn has more than 25 years’ experience working with entrepreneurs in all aspects of business: strategic planning, human resources, finance, marketing and branding. She has developed a proven methodology that helps each business owner translate his or her vision into reality by creating a concrete strategy, organizational structure and high-performing staff.

In the early 1990s, Ellyn was instrumental in establishing the successful Washington office of the American Woman’s Economic Development Corporation (AWED), the first organization in the U.S. to provide training and business counseling to aspiring and established female entrepreneurs. She has been a consistent leader in working with women’s businesses, playing key roles in the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO), the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the National Women’s Business Council. In addition, she has provided management consulting and human resources expertise in the for-profit sector.

Ellyn graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in psychology and earned a master’s degree from American University in industrial relations.
