Etip_EndYear_HeartAs a business owner, I’ve always found this time of year perfect for planning for the upcoming year.  Here are some of the things I find very helpful to do.

  1. Take Inventory
Analyze your marketing materials and determine what’s missing. For example, what past performances do you need to create? You might have proposals or award nominations in Q1, and having updated past performances and case studies could help you be prepared.

  2. Find what Changed
Update your operation manuals and new hire training materials based on employee and/or executive feedback. If you start now, they’ll be ready for 2016.
  3. Practice Gratitude
This time of year is perfect for thanking those individuals and teams that helped you, your clients, employees and company.

  4. Give Back
Another way to end the year on a positive note is to help others who need support. Please look at your charity list and before deciding on which one to support, determine how much of their funding goes directly to those in need. Charity Navigator can help you.

Would you mind sharing your tips on how you prepare yourself and your business for the upcoming year?

And please let me know if you need any help with case studies or past performances.
