Problem: Boscobel needed to create an effective
site for ALX - and did indeed! - but that was just the beginning
of the challenge. ALX would eventually become part of "America's
Career Kit," a group of four separate sites (including
America's Job Bank, the best known) that needed a unified look
- and ideally, a single Web portal site.
Solution: We developed a portal site prototype
that should come online in the near future. In order to generate
extra results now, we also developed mini-sites that linked America's
Career Kit with the sites of key stakeholders such as the Society
for Human Resources Management (SHRM), American Society of Association
Executives (ASAE), and National Association of Manufacturers
(NAM).
Our work for those high-visibility partnerships earned the prestigious
Hammer Award and a Federal 100 Award for ALX. But we didn't rest on our
laurels. We also used online marketing, including monthly newsletters,
e-mail messages and selective links to industry listserves, search engines
and portal sites to increase visibility.
