Boscobel has successfully worked with government agencies such as Office of Personal Management, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S Department of Labor and U.S. Customs, and commercial clients including QinetiQ North America, Citrix Systems, SAIC, Intelsat General, STG and other government service providers.

Position Description: Public Relations Account Executive

The PRAE will assist Boscobel’s public relations team with the coordination and delivery of strategic public relations and outreach strategies for Boscobel’s IT, engineering, commercial and government clients.

The PRAE will:

  • Serve as primary liaison between Boscobel and clients.
  • Manage internal PR team and vendors to make sure all client deliverables meet the agreed upon deadlines.
  • Assist and support creative, media, production, and off-site vendors as needed.
  • Keep staff and off-site vendors completely informed (via conference reports and call reports) on all client communications and projects.
  • As needed, meet with clients to present concepts, creative platforms, copy, layouts, illustrations, photography, final art proofs and all levels of printing proofs.
  • Pitch in with other client service tasks as needed.
  • Assist Boscobel with setting up and preparing for business development meetings.
  • Write company news releases, oversee Boscobel industry awards calendar, and look for opportunities to place bylined articles, op-eds, news releases, etc.
  • Develop and carry out global outreach strategies for our clients.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree, preferably in marketing, public relations or advertising
  • Sense-of-urgency respect for service and deadlines
  • Team-oriented
  • Fantastic people skills, great sense of humor, out-of-the-box thinking, and wearer of many hats
  • Excellent writing skills
